Reiki Practitioner (Reiki System of natural Healing Second Degree)
This System of natural healing is thought to date back approximately 5,000 years and thought to of originated in Egypt, China, Tibet and India. Dr Mikao Usui rediscovered this in the 1870s by going up to the mountain Kuriyama where he fasted and meditated for 21 days and then saw the ancient Sanskrit Sutras. Sanskrit is a very old language which he found to be the key to this natural healing energy. Who really knows for sure how this natural healing energy works and came about.
All I do know is that it is believed to heal the body, release emotions and stress, increase awareness and creativity and balance your natural energy. Reiki in basic terms stands for Free Flowing Universal energy. In Japan the ‘Ki’ element stands for energy. In China this is known as ‘chi’ and in India this is know as ‘Prana’.
